Macmillan Coffee Morning

Join us at The Lounge Café on Friday 27th September for a Macmillan Coffee Morning!

PLEASE NOTE: All profits taken between 8.30am and 12 noon will be donated to Macmillan and during that time we will only be serving FILTER COFFEE and TEA. This is for practical reasons and the sanity of our volunteers!

Our full menu you will be available from 12 noon onwards.

Chocolate Evening

Join us for a Chocolate filled evening hosted by Creative Chocolates. There’ll be an informative talk on the night with samples to taste plus products to buy and order in time for Christmas.

Refreshments will be on sale on the night from our licensed bar and there will also be a raffle (donations of prizes greatly received).

King's Club 2019

Our annual holiday club will take place from 29th July to 2nd August at St Catherine’s Academy. We are desperately short of adult leaders this year so if you think you could help in any way even for one day please let us know.

Registration forms are now available and you can download one here.  If you are unable to print at home please ring Esther on 07533 533354 or Wendy on 01204 525196.

The theme this year is ‘Backpackers’ and the club will run from 10am to 3.30pm at a cost of £4.50 per child per day or £20.00 per child for all 5 days.

Bookings must be for a minimum of 3 days and the final day to submit registration forms is 2nd July.

Free Family Barbecue

On Saturday 8th June we’ll be hosting a free family barbecue on Top o’th Brow.

The event will take place from 12pm - 3pm on the field at Grantchester Way.

We would be very grateful for the loan of any gazebos that might be available and all help on the day would be greatly appreciated any time between 9am and 4pm for however long you can spare.

Bible journaling is an exciting way to engage with Scripture. It can transform the way you spend time in the Word and it all begins within the margins of the Bible. It doesn’t require a skilled artist. All that matters is that you’re willing to experience God and His Word in a creative way

Praying through colour, and colouring, how does the simple act of colouring help focus our prayer?

17th June, Pottery
“We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” (Isaiah 64: 8). Remembering that we are all different we will shape the clay as God has shaped us and it will serve as a pot in which to place your prayers.

24th June, Psalms
Re-writing the Psalms, just changing a few words, you to me, yours to mine, Lord to Father, can make the message they hold more personal.

Archdeacons Visitation

Every year in May Archdeacons are required to hold annual Visitations to admit the Church Wardens to Office and this year we are hosting the service at Christ’s Church, Harwood. The service will begin and 7.30pm and refreshments will be served afterwards.
